Berlin Raceway releases Modified Point Fund; Model Coverall to present inaugural season
$3,500-to-win Modified Points Fund!

The Berlin Raceway announced mid-summer last year that the Modifieds would join the weekly division race lineup for this coming season. With a good group of teams committing to run at Berlin for its inaugural season of action, track President Michael Blackmer is excited to announce a strong 2010 Modified Points Fund.

Through the help of Model Coverall, who will be moving to the Modified division sponsor, the first season for the open-fendered class looks to be excellent. The division champion will take home $3,500 at the season ending awards banquet. Second will receive $1,500, $1,000 for third, $900 to fourth and $800 for fifth.

“The Modified class is something very different for the casual fan in the grandstands. We are happy with the response that we’ve gotten from drivers from all over the area, and hope that with the points fund we are offering, will further encourage even greater support!” said Michael Blackmer.

The Model Coverall Modifieds will first race on April 24, joining the Super Stocks, Pro Stocks, Young Guns and 4-Cylinders for a huge 60th year Opening Night! Tickets for adults are only $10 for adults, and $5.00 for kids 6-12. Below is the top 10 points fund payout for the Modifieds.
