The second Berlin Raceway Employee Spotlight shines on the tracks first-hired employee, Kevin Striegle. Kevin grew up at the Marne raceway, spending as many nights at the track as his family would allow.
Striegle has worked on the Berlin Raceway Tuesday night radio show, as well as Saturday night play-by-play race calls for a number of years. He also served as the public address announcer for the Kalamazoo Speedway for one season, before returning back home to Berlin.
Kevin works as the tracks General Manager, helping in areas across the board including race scheduling and promotions, marketing and sales. The 22 year old graduated from Byron Center High School in 2007, and plans on attending college next fall.
This year his goals include helping bring race fans back out to the track by increasing awareness, improving the flow of race days and making the 60th anniversary season one to remember.

Ticket Manager
Lisa is a 26 year old graduate of Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising and Public Relations.
Lisa took an interest to racing in and took in her first event at Berlin Raceway in 2006 and in 2007 she started working for the track as the Public Relations/Operations Intern. In 2008, an opportunity arose for her to come back to that position and she gladly accepted. Coming back as an intern for a second year opened the door to a full time position with the track in 2009.
Lisa is a resident of Ganges and is in starting the process of building a home there. She is also contemplating going back to school to either get her Master’s degree or complete another undergraduate program.

Sales/Promotions
The first Berlin Raceway Employee Spotlight will shine on the tracks newest employee, Nick Caudle. Nick comes to Berlin from the Grand Rapids Griffins, where he interned as Game Operations and Promotions Coordinator. He also has experience working for the West Michigan Sports Commission, as their Event Coordinator.
With a Master of Arts in Sports Management from Western Michigan University, and Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management from Calvin College, minoring in Business. Nick Caudle, 26, is now the lead Sales Representative for Berlin Raceway, in addition to a focus on special events and promotions for the tracks 60th year in operation.
Nick played baseball throughout his years in high school, as well as at Calvin College, where he was the team captain. In his first year of racing involvement, Nick hopes to gain contacts and build relationships within the industry and help to further improve Berlin’s already outstanding business relationships.
